Douyin2YT (the “Application”) is a personal, single-user content migration tool. It uploads content that the owner is legally authorized to use from Douyin to YouTube channels owned by the same individual. The Application is not offered to the public, has no public sign-up, and is not operated commercially.
1. Data We Access
Google authorization data: OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens, plus the authorized YouTube channel identifier and channel title.
YouTube channel data (read-only): used solely to verify channel identity and to check upload status and quota usage.
Uploaded content: video files, titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails created by the owner.
2. How We Use the Data
To upload videos to the owner's own authorized YouTube channels and set metadata and visibility.
To check the result of each upload task so the local queue can retry or report status.
For no other purpose: no advertising, no profiling, no data mining.
3. Storage and Security
All data is stored on a privately operated server owned by the developer. No third-party SaaS platform is used.
OAuth tokens, the database, and media files reside in restricted directories accessible only to the owner's account. The server exposes a single authenticated entry point.
Tokens never appear in plaintext in any log, web page, or exported file.
4. Sharing and Third Parties
The Application does not sell, rent, trade, or transfer any data to third parties.
The only recipient of data is the YouTube Data API v3 operated by Google LLC, used to perform uploads and queries, governed by the
Google Privacy Policy.
The Application uses no third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry SDKs.
